“The More that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go,” -Dr. Seuss

Today I am sharing stories with you from Manli Davis, Neil Roy McFarlane, Miriam Laundrey, Melissa Perry Moraja and by C.L. Murphy. These stories bring young readers bedtime stories, confidence, adventure, responsibility and unintended consequences to learn from.

One abandoned kitty’s story of how he found a new home and the best mommy and daddy.

This bumper collection of funny bedtime stories for kids is designed for parents to read to/with children aged five to inifinity. It places the child at the centre of each crazy adventure by making him/her the central character. Containing heavy doses of humour which can be enjoyed by parent and child alike, and with a whopping thirty-one stories, this collection is designed to last a whole month.

Molly has been chosen to be the next Star of the Day! Most kids would be excited. Molly, however, is terrified! She just CAN’T speak in front of her class. She worries all day. She frets all night. “I CAN’T… I CAN’T…. I CAN’T,” Molly convinces herself. Or can she?
“I CAN Believe in Myself” is a book that challenges children to change the way they think. Other themes in this book include compassion, confidence and self-esteem.

Six-year-old Isabella usually is the one who has a babysitter. But when her enormous puppy named Baxter creates a mess and prevents her mom from working, Isabella’s mom asks her to babysit him. And Isabella knows exactly how to do it! Or does she? First, Isabella gets Baxter dressed…TWICE! Next they have a snack, but not without a CRASH and a BANG. And that’s just the beginning. Join Isabella in her very first picture book filled with lots of humor and adventure as she tries to keep Baxter from making a bigger mess.

It’s almost Christmas and Santa finds himself in quite the predicament due to unintended consequences as a result of trying something new.  Lobo, and his raven sidekick, Roxy, travel to the North Pole to help the jolly ole’ one, and are guided by the Arctic animals.  The colors of the season delight along the way and make for a howling good holiday.  Can you howl Ho Ho Ho?
